That's exactly how many steps my "baby" took all by herself yesterday...for the first time...without my help.
Three...
O'clock this morning...is what time my "baby" got up and needed me...or some milk...for sure she needed me to get the milk. I didn't mind. I couldn't sleep anyway. And when I picked her up from her crib, she squeezed both of my cheeks in hug style. We rocked in the chair, snuggled in the blanket...just her and me...I actually miss her waking in the middle of the night...sometimes.
Three...
That's the number of times the police cruised by the park we were at yesterday...very slowly...looking, maybe, for the "bad man" that was released from jail for doing "bad things" to kids...at least that's how I had to explain it to my kids.
Three...
Loads of laundry I did yesterday...and it's still not all done.
Three...
Hugs I received from my oldest son yesterday...the 2nd grader...who hardly gives any hugs anymore. I thought that happened when they were teenagers.
Three...
Activities we have tonight...for just one kid...soccer game, then baseball practice, then uniform pick-up.
Three...
Plus one...of the most amazing kids I could ask for...and for that I am truly blessed...
